You may have heard of the 5:2 diet where you eat normally for 5 days per week and then restrict yourself or detox for 2. This trend of fasting or detoxing for 2 days per week has also made some headlines in the beauty industry as people are using the same method to help their skin.
The 5:2 Skin Care Diet is when you take two days off per week from wearing makeup to let your skin breathe. This originated in the UK and I love this idea but not for the same reasons as everyone. I also do it a little differently, which I will explain in this post.
