So life won't be perfect and it'll have many ups and downs but you'll get through it. You'll be strong enough to keep fighting and you'll have an amazing husband who will be your rock and the love of your life. Don't give up, these obstacles seem impossible at the time but simply by putting one foot in front of the other, no it won't actually be simple, you'll come out of it stronger, smarter and eventually the healing will begin.

Things are good on the outside. On the inside though, you look in the mirror and aren’t happy with what you see. The daily struggle of trying to look “good” is ongoing and will be, but eventually you will look in the mirror and love yourself. You’ll be able to put yourself in front of the camera, look at yourself, and smile. You’ll have days when you look in the mirror and love what you see – and those days will be the best days and the only days you feel good. But that won’t be the case forever. You won’t feel empty and despite what you think, you are beautiful.

So dear current me,
Life will get hard. People will be mean. Not everyone will like you. You may never be able to afford all the brand name clothes. You may never look like a Kardashian. But you are beautiful. You are strong. You are passionate. And I love you. It may of taken many roller coaster rides for you to finally say to yourself that it’s so much better to just be yourself rather than what everyone else wants you to be, but you’re here now.

You've found yourself a lot sooner than most people your age do. Your family is happy. You are at peace with yourself, and others. You will still enjoy writing; the blog you started when you were 16 years old is still up and running - and it's gotten you some pretty sick opportunities! You still have days where you're hard on yourself but you've found ways to cope with it. You meet some amazing people in your life. And most importantly, I want you to know that you are happy.
